Clean Eating Cobia: Health

I love finding ways to feed my family as healthy and clean as possible. I have my ups and downs when it comes to food choices, it comes and goes with how I am feeling. When I get low my first step is to clean up my food and take care of myself. As a mom self-care is easier said than done- but SO worth it. Anyone who has eating clan for a while can attest to how GREAT it makes you feel. I believe if we have the understanding and knowledge( and support!) we have strength to make better choices in many aspects f our lives. I am starting this blog to help remind myself- through my studies- WHY I want to continue to eat as healthy as I possibly can. I am not vegan or vegetarian or any sort of label. I occasionally eat animal products, I still eat sugar, I still eat pretty much anything. But I can feel a HUGE difference when I avoid the things I know are not good for my body. MY goal is 90% clean, and as raw as I can. I don’t beat myself up over a treat that my visiting teacher brings over. If I can get as many fruits and vegetables, whole grains, beans and fiber into my diet and my families diet- then I feel satisfied. Food is my passion, feeling food and happy is my goal.
